Breitbart.com : Canada judge: Man not responsible for beheading

Bravo to the courts! I say that in all seriousness. You people out there who call for stiffer punishments have your own demons to deal with and subscribe to a very twisted, Fascist sentiment, likely because of all the fear that has been force fed all of us just prior to 9/11 and with full force thereafter. Canadian judges show first rate humanness and rationale when confronted with a dangerous person and use the due process in determining appropriate action at a level that most of you fire and brimstone loonies could never appreciate. If someone is mentally ill, how can you call yourself a civilization if the first thing that comes to mind is throwing the perp in a dungeon and tossing away the key?! I mean, what this man went through is horrible and I can't begin to imagine his family's anguish at his loss, but let's leave archaic punishment to US courts, where it's begin embraced and perfected with full effect. I'm a US citizen and highly respect Canadian and European ways of doing things. Don't turn fascist like us and care more about instant gratification punishment than the prosperity of a society built on compassionate, ethical law enforcement.
