My father has an iPhone 4 JB&UL on 4.0.2, and it is overheating constantly and turning off, already happend twice today
Now he doesn't do anything out of the ordinary, keeps it in normal temp and all.
He uses a case that covers the back, so i dont know if this might be it, I already advised him to try it one day without it.
Taking it back is out of the question (it was bought in another country), and I don't want to loose the unlock.
Has anyone ever had is, do you have any suggestions, do you think that updating to 4.1 might fix this perhaps?
Thanks a lot!

Yes, I know that inserting a sim is the best way, but my sim is not a micro yet, and I'm not getting a micro or cutting mine until tomorrow (I'm going to a mini woodstock today here in brazil and I'm sure as hell not going to bring my iphone 4).
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

While you can JB and UL now with limera1n, since you only need it for next moth I would strongly recommend you to wait until the Dev Team releases the Pwnage Tools wich will be more reliable and more stable than limera1n.

Caliphone, if you need unlock I would advise you to wait a few days, since the Dev Team will release a version of Pwnage tools using this exploit that will be safer for you to JB and Unlock.

I tried it once on an old 2G I have, but it didn't work, so I can't say anything about the experience, but maybe someone here tried it succesfully and can tell you more about it.
