I'm somewhat optimistic in that this case is handled in the Swedish courtroom in which judges make the call instead of a jury. I doubt the judges would fall for the utter bullshit that was presented by the prosecution and the industry, and will acquit the defendants. One thing that I would hope you could cover is if the defendants have any legal options open to them for the harassment they have endured at the hands of the MPAA and the RIAA? Beyond that, your articles have been very enlightening and entertaining. :)

Yes, Left 4 Dead is a violent game, so what? Do you have an issue distinguishing between fantasy and reality? Should books that depict violence be censored as well? What about movies and TV shoes that are violent? Zarathustra is right in that you sound like a theist when you make your moral proclamations against ER in that I'm willing to bet that you haven't even played Left 4 Dead. You see, despite the fact that it's violent, it's one of the few games out there that properly encourages and rewards teamwork amongst the players. Players that help each other, and constantly act selflessly(e.g. using their own health kit to heal someone else, grabbing the attention of the tank, etc) not only perform well in the game, but gain achievements for being helpful. Retarded douche bags that think they are going to be a hero and go alone, tend to die rather quickly, and where possible are usually kicked out by the rest of the team. So despite being a "violent" game, it actually encourages positive behavior or helping other people. So take your moralistic proclamations elsewhere, go out and play a game, and then come back making valid points, instead of sounding like a christian shithead with nary a braincell in between his/her ears.

Once again, that which we wish wasn't real, turns out to be real. I checked their source code, and found this link to a protest against an abortion clinic; which they apparently have every month. Note in the pictures that there are plenty of people there wearing the crappy products that they peddle. Looking at their Whois, it appears that this company is in Illinois. Look at that "protest" link though... it is truly sickening. So once again, it's real, and my hope for humanity has gone down yet again.

That's not right and you know it. God is supposed to be an omnipotent being. He's supposed to know everything that is going to happen before it does. When he supposedly created me, he knew that I would become an atheist, therefore either he isn't omnipotent, or he gets his jollies sending people to hell. Also, what about people that have no clue about the existence of the christian god? Do they get sent to hell too? According to your thesis they do, and frankly that's abhorrent. Lastly, you didn't answer my question about if you would have been a christian if you had been born in Saudi Arabia. Further, you completely seem to be overlooking both the old testament and revelations. I guess those parts of the bible are a little too much for you? I'm going to be nice to you for a little bit because you're a fellow musician. You need to think about what you're saying. Ultimately, what you're saying is that we should worship this entity, that is not only a sadist, but a genocidal maniac greater than any mass murderer that has ever existed. Think about it, he loves you so much, that if you don't do what he says, he will send you to hell to suffer for eternity. Does that sound like the kind of thing someone that loves you would do to you? Do you inflict pain and suffering on your girlfriend or spouse if they don't follow your directives to the letter? Is the reason your girlfriend or spouse with you because she's afraid of you? That's effectively what god is supposedly saying. "Fear me, and worship me, or I will inflict pain and suffering unto you." That's not the basis for a loving relationship, and it makes god out to be a sadist. Finally, think about the only proof that you have to claim that your god is even real. Do you think you would have been a christian if you had been born in Saudi Arabia? Does that mean that you would have been consigned to hell even though you have no idea about the christian god? Doesn't it make more sense that the only reason you are a christian is because it was drilled into your head since you were a child, and because your parents were christians themselves? Think about it. There is no proof about your god -- none whatsoever. Furthermore, even if he did exist, he doesn't deserve our worship; he deserves our contempt. Anyone that would treat people the way that you claim he does is not worthy of worship, and should be held up as an example of what true evil is capable of. You really need to re-think your core beliefs and think about what they are saying about the god that you are worshiping. You might be surprised at what you will find.
