Cod4 is dying plane and simple. Its coming to the end of its life span, 2 short I know, Could and should have been backed by the developers more with DLC and such. A great game that could have been even better with more time to fix/add stuff. Its just to bad activision is so money hungry they need a cod game every year. Id like to just have one multiplayer game for a few years that gets updated and DLC and release a single player game in itself for people that like that kind of thing. That will never happen so we as gamers play the crap out of the game just to throw everything away when the next game comes out. I hate that to be honest. The game has been out for almost a year, 1 DLC, 1 patch, and a few game type taken away. This game didnt get the kind of support it deserved. Ive herd it so many times befor that IW must not have known cod4 was going to be so big. I believe that is true. It should have been milked dry for DLC and all that crap. Game types, maps etc. The possibilities were endless. I keep hearing it takes so long to do this and so long to do that. Well pardon my language but what the hell has IW as a development team done in the past 6 months for this game? Its been 6 months since the last DLC. Nothing else has been done since. I just cant seem to understand it at all. These so called game types have less then 2 months to be released or it will never happen. COD world at war is set to release on Nov 11th. The beta is in October. Activision would NEVER let IW release somthing 2 close to mess with the sales of cod W@W. But if a patch is needed and is going to happen then why not fix the host migration to ingame hose migration and add Capture the flag for the hell of it. Could be capture the Case. Whatever. Even if you make it a download Id be happy to pay for that game type. It makes me sad that it seems as if IW will not support COD4 after COD WaW is released. Id rather keep this game and have IW still release stuff for it. We need new maps, I thought IW did a great job on COD2 with the patchs and the map packs. We got 3 map packs in 1 year.
