LOL. Yeah, Andy's satire is tough to catch sometimes. No worries. Better men than me have been baffled by it.

Speaking of Greg, check out his latest post. Couldn't he have just concluded with "according to Jesus, inspired but wrong"?

Thanks brother. Not to put you on the spot (but I guess I will), I think you made my point for me. Someone dares say that the bible is wrong in places, and what he gets back is a discussion about Schleiermacher, Kant, Barth, Wright, Hart, Volf, Witherington, Boyd, Piper, Calvinism, context, genre, narrative, mission, ministry, and ultra-fundamentalism. Like I said, can't we just say, from what Jesus revealed to us about the nature of God, that He didn't order the massacre of the Canaanites? Can't we just say that? Do we have to resort to a survey of 500 years of Western theology? Anyway, sorry about rant. Like I said, the comment was just too apropos. Grace and Peace, brother.

Wait a minute!!! I can handle a few stones, just don't call me no "liberal!" (Plus, I don't think the phrase "chicken shit" was invented yet; too bad, come to think of it).

Alan, Don't deplore. Sorry if it came across that way. Canon? Too big a question for a comment. Examples? That's not what I want this post to be about. Justification? Arrogance, baby. Pure arrogance. Grace and Peace, Raffi

Yeah, you know me and my penchant for the dramatic. But death ain't always a bad thing, especially when followed by New Life. Grace and Peace, sister. (And, rule of thumb, never release your laptop...for any reason).

Yep. I think that was the hope for the Tribe, too. Centralized content repository, then go and start a discussion somewhere. I think the streamlined nature of Twitter/Twibe is what makes it more appealing, and therefore increases the chances of conversation actually taking place. Like I said, let's see what happens.

Thanks Sonja. I hear you. The thing is (and I think this comes with the huge nature of the topic), all these are on my mind. In such situations, I've found that God becomes more audible through conversation with the community (in this case, you guys). Grace and Peace, Raffi
