Michael Hyatt Blog : Forget Your Blog Stats and Just Write!

Mike, I think I could have written this blog post word for word! Even your perceived "reasons" for blogging - which, you're right, are more like the benefits. I've been blogging since 2006 and every few months I get the overwhelming urge to quit. Again and again, I come back to the truth: I really like blogging, and I do it mostly for myself. That's what keeps me going. Thanks for putting this into words.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Real Leaders Go First

This is not an answer to your question, but I just wanted to mention that I think this new TV show "Undercover Boss" is going to uncover a lot of situations where the CEO has never done the job of his/her employees. I'm fascinated by it and can't wait to watch!

Terrific post, Mike. I guess we're both thinking along the same lines - I posted on the same topic today, although your approach is kinder, gentler, and much more informative. Thanks!

Mike, I could have written these exact same things. I've gone off Twitter a couple times, for a few days each time, and I had a similar experience. Glad to know you use SocialOomph.com -- I use it too, and I love it! Merry Christmas.

Michael Hyatt Blog : Friends, Critics, and Trolls

Whoa, Mike, I really needed to hear this today. I've had that same kind of week. I'm really bad at refraining from responding to my critics publicly! I fight myself on it all the time. Having this perspective helps. Thanks.

Michael Hyatt Blog : What Keeps You Going When You Want to Quit?

Mike, this blog post was perfectly timed for me. Today I'm going to make my list answering the question, "Why should I continue being a literary agent?" The challenge has been much more than I expected, it feels like an uphill battle everyday, and I find myself asking more and more, "Why?" Time for me to answer the question. Thanks for this terrific example and showing me how to get my motivation back.

Michael Hyatt Blog : How Can You Get Published If You Don’t Have a Platform?

So Mike, Google Analytics says my daily average is 939 visitors to my blog. I don't think that counts my 1000+ subscribers through Google Reader, Feedblitz, and Bloglines. Does that mean I'm ready to publish a book??? :-)
