I think it's more likely, when the money runs out in February, NASA will find itself asking SpaceX to not make any milestone claims - whatever those milestones may be - because they don't have the money to pay up.

God speed John.. I think when you start flying humans the interest in the project will skyrocket (again).

Well, I personally couldn't afford the ticket.. but I've flown in a Tiger Moth and it was fantastic.

I don't know how much demand they actually get.. but one has to assume it is adequate or the price would be lower because if the price couldn't be lower then they wouldn't be flying at all.. right?

Sigh. This is free market research and the suborbital space tourism community is oblivious to its importance.

If a view of a curved horizon and black sky is all you’re looking for, why bother with, say, a $200,000 suborbital spaceflight? Would people settle instead for something like high-altitude jet flight at a much lower cost?

YES!!! They want the overview effect.. they don't care if they are "in space" or not. For the love of pete, sell the customer what they want!

Don't be stupid, that would suggest the Apollo Moon Hoax crowd did even the minimum amount of research to discover that their absurdity isn't original.

That's what the commercial space industry is for...

or are you still envisioning the ISS on the Moon?

Buzz is in favor of the US helping other nations to get to the Moon and do what Apollo already did, yes.

He's also in favor of all nations helping their commercial space industry to get to the Moon and develop it.

Here's a direct quote for ya: "10/15 Fox online article misquoted me completely. Fox will run clarification. I still hold to the primacy of U.S. getting man to Mars- BUZZ"

So there ya go. Buzz does support a return to the Moon - by other governments and commercial interests.

People regularly demand the ISS be splashed to free up the funding because it is so "silent".
