Yes,I was jailbroken 3.0 on purplera1n, then I originally tried to restore, forgot to uncheck activate, then restored back to the downloaded restore ipsw, and now I'm getting error message. Btw, if I find a comp with iTunes pre 9, can I still downgrade?

Ok, please help me people of Dev-Team (or people commenting). After making a Custom ipsw, and putting my phone into recovery mode, and Option restoring to the custom ipsw (attempting atleast), I keep getting error 1604. Please help me, as I have no idea how to fix this, and want my jailbreak back!

You can go to iTunes, and just click the restore button and go back to new!

Ok, I have an iPhone 3GS that I jailbroke 3.0 with purplera1n (I think). I had gotten the jailbreak to work originally, but I accidentally checked "activate", so now, every time I try to get it to restore to differnet custom firmware files, I keep getting error message 1600. HELP!!!!

Hey, I was jailbreaking a buddy's iTouch (1G) running 2.2.1, and i had it in QuickPwn and it got stuck on the screen when it says "jailbreak is running on your iPod" (or something along that line). This happened to me twice. The first time, I was able to just quit, and restart. Now, I'm afraid that I've either bricked it, or its stuck in recovery mode. Please help me!! Remember, this is my friends not mine so if I fuck it up for good I'm screwed. Thanks
