Luckily he alive to spend it..I have a close friend who I served with in the Nam who had a similar experience. After 8 years of appeals , remand back to the RO etc he received 189,000.00. A hell of a long wait but eternally grateful. and he deserves every cent . I actually had a bro who I got to know by calling and requesting him thru the Detroit office.
