I am disgusted that my own representative (McHugh) was one of the Republicans that voted for it...but I had a feeling once he accepted his new job it would be how he would go. My husband would routinely & deliberately give odd payment to see the reaction - rarely does he get someone who confidently makes the change correctly. At first I told him it was mean, and to stop, but after watching it so many times with the same outcome and realizing it was significant of a big issue - I have now started doing it myself. Kind of like our own running experiment that blows me away everytime. He travels alot for work and is trying to find an area of the country where it does not phase them and they confidently make the change, after several years - no luck yet. We even make it easy and round up and add the change...for example the bill is $9.29, give them a ten, then when they hit the button, add two quarters. They are so confused. Several times they have had to ask management for help. I can't believe that this what a high school graduate is in this country, no wonder they can't comprehend the deficit upon us.
