PBK BLOG : The Art of Snacking.

Hi, thanks for your comments. We did spend some time talking about cheaper products like banana's, sandwiches, fig rolls and the like. You're quite right to mention muesli bars as an alternative, but it would be impractical for us to start talking about brands given the worldwide nature of this blog. We think both traditional and modern forms of snackage have a very valid place in your back pocket! PBK

PBK BLOG : The helmet debate: To wear, or not to wear?

Thanks for your input Daniel! Here in the office you won't find someone without a helmet on (when we're on our bikes, obviously not when sitting at our desks....).

PBK BLOG : Tips & Tricks for the new PBK website

Hi Namko, Thanks for your comments. There are a handful of issues with the sorting functionality that we're aware of and working hard to resolve in the near future. We believe the vast majority of the sorting features are working well, but as you say, particularly with sorting by price, it's not quite working as it should. In regards to the loss of reward points at checkout if you don't complete your order - this is also an issue we're aware of. In the meantime at least, you're welcome to get in touch with PBK and we'll reinstate your PBK Reward Points manually until we have a more permanent resolution. In terms of your third point on the zoom levels - we spent a considerable amount of time trying to ensure the website doesn't experience any inconsistencies when changing the zoom levels within different browsers. As every browser acts slightly differently, there may still be a handful of small issues, particularly at extreme zoom levels. It's certainly something we hope to resolve shortly. We're glad you like the design and hopefully the issues you've mentioned haven't spoiled the experience too much. Thanks again for your comments, PBK.

Hi Christophe, Thanks for your feedback. The lack of a 'view all' button is something which several of our customers have commented on. Hopefully the ability to refine products within a given category makes up for this fact to some extent. However, it's certainly something we'll keep a close eye on - at the end of the day we want to make the website as user friendly as possible! Thanks again, PBK.

Hi Ivan, Glad you like the new website! We monitor exchange rates carefully to ensure that we remain competitive at all times. While we can't go into detail about the exact calculations we use, we can assure you that we aim to get you the best deal we possibly can. In regards to your second question, the currency within the customs declaration that is attached to packages is always in GBP. Just to reassure you again, the prices you see on the website are the prices you pay. If you happen to be from the USA for instance, you'll view prices and pay in your local currency, USD. Thanks again for your questions, if there's anything else we can help with don't hesitate to ask! PBK.

Hi Martin, Thanks for your comments. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing the website crashing. If possible would you be able to let us know whereabouts on the website you're seeing this issue occur and also a brief note on what operating system and browser you're using so we can look into it for you? We're glad you're liking the website otherwise! In regards to the PBK clothing, we're expecting it to arrive within 6-8 weeks but we'll let you know in the newsletter when the time comes! Thanks again for your comments. PBK.

Hi, Thanks for your comments. I think it's safe to say you've reached the lofty heights of being known as a cycling addict! It's also nice to hear your non-cyclist husband has accepted your love of cycling for what it is. All that's left now is to convert him to your ways! Thanks again, PBK.
