40 years and done.
My wife smoked cigarettes for 40 years. She wanting to quit, tried the patch, the gum, cold turkey and hypnosis, and still smoked a pack and a half a day and felt very guilty. We accidently found a mall selling e-cigs. She was done with regular cigarettes that day. Over four months later she is working to reduce her nicotine intake. Her smoker's hack is gone. I am no longer a second hand smoker. She can walk into meetings and not feel bad for the people having to sit near her and her cigarette smelling clothes. We have several thousand foster parents capable of working with these parents, when going home is a possibility. We are working to create a system were some foster parents are seen as professionals with higher expectations.
