You're not supporting your child by attacking the victims family. What happened happened. It was a terrible tragedy and now is the time to support your son and not slander the victims. You, friends, family, should use their energy to support Brandon and the other boys in their time of need. Subjecting the victims family to public ridicule and slanderous words ( such as on your myspace calling the wife the B-word) isn't going to make anything better. You should be thankful there was even a plea offer at all. Or that Don didn't sustain more serious injuries or death. Sure you love your son but Don's family loves him too and lucky to be alive. Please think about those things before you try to judge anyone involved that night.

Don, I'm so sorry in the midst of such a terrible tragedy vicious rumors and attacks are still happening stay strong! These family members are only showing the public what kind of family this poor boy came from. They're only hurting poor Brandon even further. Stay strong. They'll twist this story however they can to help them sleep better at night. Poor you and poor Brandon as well.

This is really sad. If the roles were reversed would these parents be asking for mercy? No they would be asking for justice. It's sad that such an aweful crime was commited and even after admittance of guilt on the boys part, conviction, and a very fair sentence passed down, the fued still continues. Regardless on if they hit him 12 times or 100 times they still did it. I think now is a time to be supporting your son "lunchlady" rather than attack this innocent man and his family after your son viciously beat him. What I'd the shoe was on the other foot and these boys beat your son? Would they deserve 7 years in jail for beating your son or your husband? Or would you seek more? In this time you are fighting a worthless battle, you could written a letter to your son. My heart goes out to the victim and his family. Stay strong and ignore this mindless babble. You're above it.
