Speak for yourself - I loved this episode. MY FAVORITE OF SEASON 3!!!!!

I like Spike, and this episode really dug into what makes him tick as a character in a way that hasn't been done since Dragon Quest.

Also, I love love LOVE the little riff that is played every time Spike bows. It is perfect.

I will agree with none of your negative complaints.

I strongly recommend "A Delicate Balance." It starts a little slow, but it is easily my favorite ship fiction - or even romance fiction ever!

Glad to see it updated, I will be reading now.

I have to agree with you, especially on the Pinkie Pie part.

I think Pinkie's rudeness is mostly because the episode was limited to 20 minutes.

Still, I am always annoyed that Pinkie Pie repeatedly makes Luna feel extremely unwelcome, but then Luna is the one labelled as "unfriendly." Definitely Pinkie Pie at her worst.

However, this episode is so full of excellent that I cannot bring myself to dislike it even a little bit. Just about everything Luna says is adorable and quotable, and the visual gags are wonderful.

I don't like the interpretation of this poll: I don't think you are interpreting the results correctly.

The question asks which element represents your "good side." However, only the 5 non-magic elements represent typical attributes one can posses.

How does one posses "friendship" as a personal attribute? You could cop out and claim it actually means "friendliness," but that isn't what Twilight's character seems to represent in the show (though she does become friendlier over time).

Alternatively you could say Twilight's element is "Magical," so you just need to be "magical." Which is hard to be if you are human.

Because neither of the interpretations for Twilight's element fit nicely into known human attributes, I would expect no one would pick it.

Much more interesting to me is the lack of people who answered Honesty/Generosity (especially because both traits seem to be well represented in the collective activities undertaken by the fandom).
