One wonders what kind of deal China will get? It seems they want to join too. https://www.worldpoliticsreview.com/trend-lines/2...

Are we still going to look to join if China are members?

Interesting what you say about services, and the trade on our doorstep. Not going well there either!

According to the data Priti Patel has signed it 65 times, Rishi Sunak 79 times, and so far 3 people from Tuvalu have signed.

How much should Rishi and Priti be claiming, it would give me a baseline to work to?

They do of course trade with 3rd Countries, as you say using the rules that the UK help draft.

We now appear not to like those rules now applying to us.

If you want the full details of those land borders that you mention, then I suggest you follow the twitter account of Kieran the courier, who details the waits and the amount of time it take to traverse those borders. Checks are thorough.

So on point two you seem to saying:-

a) widen the categories of frictionless goods, which essentially means the UK just signs up to EU standards on those goods. Would still need checks to enforce other items.

b) This means putting a border with physical checks between Northern and Southern Ireland, which is going to restore violence to the island.

Whole point boils down to this :- By choosing to leave the Single Market and Customs Union we ensured that a hard border is needed. By choosing not to align to European standards, more stringent checks are needed.

That really needs to be taken on board by UK citizens as a whole.

That was over a number of years. Johnson has a couple of months to sort this.

The government losing a vote of that nature, would mean an election, and a constitutional nightmare.

Which is why the vote will almost certainly not take place.

Johnson is responsible for the deal.

Stop trying to re-write history.

Zero chances of going through parliament.

All it will do is split the Tory parliamentary party in any vote.
