Scotland does not want to leave the EU. Nor would it alienate a large portion of the population, as most people actually do not care. There were over a million that marched to remain, where were the leavers. I think leavers over estimate how people will feel. The way forward is a peoples vote on Bojo deal and remain.
I wouldn’t be too sure the Northern England would not go towards the EU, As I would definitely wish to remain in the EU, as a northerner, I do not see any reason to remain saddled to southern England that does not care a fig about the north.
The only trade deals the USA will do is if it benefits the America First not America and GB and there was nearly a trade deal between the US and EU it was called TTIP but the people of Europe and the UK killed it with various petitions etc millions of people took part in it because nobody wants the American deals.
It is not about power, it is about a United Ireland, which the GF agreement gave the Illusion of that, which kept the republicans in line, but it also gave the unionist what they wished for which was to stay with GB, now Brexit as come along and even though NI voted overwhelmingly to remain the DUP are determined to leave, because they do not believe in the GF agreement.
Hammond is carrying out the will of his constituents who voted 52% to remain, so how is he doing wrong.
They were the the remainers, the leavers of Bojo gove etc promised sun lite uplands and unicorns and we don’t listen to experts, and the easiest deal in history, the leavers never said anything about a no deal, when it was raised by the remainers it was operation fear. So no No Deal was not on the referendum.
And don’t forget the ERG group that voted against as well not to mention Bojo,
The people that voted in Gauke seat voted to Remain so your theory about a safe seat looks rather shaky as probably only another Remain voting MP will do.
Not proven and she would have a case for wrongful dismissal, Cummings is the real force behind Bojo and he is the one that is running the show, and unelected to boot is this what it means to take back control and parliamentary sovereignty.
So thought May before the 2017 election and the polls where showing a swing to the conservatives of 20% otherwise she would not have risked it, instead we got a hung parliament.
