Watching him today, I have to disagree. Total commitment, marshalled the team throughout and even had time to offer advice to younger players .....and then a superbly taken goal, having read the game & positioned himself perfectly. We are lucky to have him as our Captain. It is very easy to praise BFS for the way that we are playing and our league position - deservedly I admit but he didn't make Nolan his first big signing for nothing. I still believe that we are only in 3rd gear, but Nolan will ensure that the team find fourth in the games that we have left. David Sullivan rehabilitated himself in the eyes of many Hammers fans talking to you. Whilst Sam needs less rehabilitation - particularly after the motivation showed by the team over the course of the last 3 games - an open & honest debrief, on what appears will be a very successful season for him, would set us all up nicely for next season.
