There has been a lot of criticism of Nolan by supporters this season. Watching him today, I have to disagree. Total commitment, marshalled the team throughout and even had time to offer advice to younger players .....and then a superbly taken goal, having read the game & positioned himself perfectly. We are lucky to have him as our Captain. It is very easy to praise BFS for the way that we are playing and our league position - deservedly I admit but he didn't make Nolan his first big signing for nothing. I still believe that we are only in 3rd gear, but Nolan will ensure that the team find fourth in the games that we have left.

"The panic sets in and I feel that sickening feeling…" Tell me about it & I thought I was the only one. I have aged 10 years this season. Excellent article. Very many thanks.

West Ham Till I Die : Who Should Play in Goal Against Palace?

If I were Sam Allardyce, I would be on the phone to you seeking to arrange an end of season interview. David Sullivan rehabilitated himself in the eyes of many Hammers fans talking to you. Whilst Sam needs less rehabilitation - particularly after the motivation showed by the team over the course of the last 3 games - an open & honest debrief, on what appears will be a very successful season for him, would set us all up nicely for next season. Tongue in cheek...as it seems that we are destined to win the Championship by playing with just 10 men, do we even need a goalkeeper? Good Luck.

West Ham Till I Die : In Conversation With David Sullivan (Part 8): "How Paolo Di Canio Could be West Ham Manager"

A throughly enjoyable, serialised read. Thank you Iain for setting this up and to David Sullivan for taking the interest, time and trouble so speak so openl and honestly. What refreshing outlook; I belive that WHUFC is in sound hands and well set to make headway whatever weather lies ahead. Well Done & Thank you both again.

West Ham Till I Die : Parish Notice: The Need for Machiavellian Regeneration!

I think that this is an excellent, informative and very well witten blog. I consider myself very fortunate tohave access to this facility and miss it when nothing is posted for a day or two. I gave no problem with anybody voicing a contrary opinion to mine or to Iain or SJ's. What I connotstomch is rudeness, ignorance or just plain bad manners. I would support any call for robust moderation and expulsion when lines are crossed. Braderz come back please.
