It is by far a lot gorier, but it gives you a better idea of the hardships one has to deal with in the Equestrian Wasteland. The characters are fantastic and develop beautifully over the MANY chapters of this fic (Seriously? 70 Chapters? You spoil us Somber). Although most would expect all the trauma dealt in the wasteland to be physical, Somber does an excellent job in explaining the many mental traumas the wasteland can dish out as well. Since there really isn't a whole lot more I can say without spoiling parts of it, I would DEFINITELY recommend this to any FoE fans.
