You have been spending way too much time in d.c. -- everything you said makes sense right up to the point where you went Solyndra on us: "It is to pay the price now to make biofuels commercially viable." The reason bio fuels are not commercial viable has much to do with supply capability, not the price of gasoline. That's like saying if I took your food away you would lose weight... and of course that's a good thing for most, right up to but not including death.

AMEN! They made billions by analyzing deals and understanding what great opportunities look like. So, in the old age, they are either too lazy now (meaning they have lost the thrill of chasing the deals) or they KNOW that without their buddies the feds applying coerced tax dollar subsidies there is no reasonable return on investment.
