I like what I have heard of his domestic policies. His foreign policies, especially in regards Islam, are idiotic and suicidal. Islam is more dangerous than communism ever was.

The imams and others in power /want/ something to get upset about. Considering that every single course of action has some drawback somewhere, they are going to find /something/ to use to incite violence.

They believe that weapons in general are for people with high status. They can have weapons because they are high status.

Even gang bangers have this attitude: "I got my nine, I'm hot stuff. Nobody better mess with me."

And people who are unarmed are less likely to get uppity with their betters.

The purpose is to get patriots out of the military, and gang bangers in. Or illegals. And repeal the Posse Comitatus Act so the military (what is left of it) can be used for internal policing.
