Western Center For Journalism : A botched 9/11 commemoration

Well, Leo, if you were an American thinker, you would ask why several "hijackers" were still reported alive two weeks after. You might also ask, how Al CIAduh was able to get NORAD to stand down, or at least, get the information of the alleged training which very coincidentally was modeled after a threat using planes to crash into buildings. You might also ask how Building 7 fell into it's own foot print when is was not hit by a building. Not enough thinking going on around here.

Big Government : Congressman John Murtha Dead at 77

I hope he was saved and on praying ground. He has now gone on to his eternal reward to one of two places as will we all. Without saying anything bad about the deceased, now is the time for the good people of Pennsylvania to put a Constitutional 10th Amendment proponent in the office. I hope that they rise to the occasion.

The Peace Freedom & Prosperity Movement : Ron Paul 7/16/09 "Stop The Bailouts, Keynes Is To Blame, Cut Spending Overseas, Not An Isolatio

Most excellent, Dr. Paul. Keynes is indeed dead, literally and intellectually. One can not spend one's way to prosperity on a macro or micro level.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Isakson, Dodd Introduce Legislation Requiring Child Care Providers to Disclose Insurance Status

Once more, our illustrious "senator" shows his ignorance of the US Constitution. That or he can show me where it says that he has authority to propose such legislation. We need to help them remember HR 450 Enumerated Powers Act, and to cosign same, along with the 10th Amendment. Not to mention that Dodd is about as big a communist as they come. We need to remember this, come election day. BTW, the word senator is in quotes because the 17th Amendment was not properly ratified and according to Article V is unconstitutional itself due to depriving non-signing states of their proper suffrage (vote). But I am not going to hold my breath waiting on Juanny Isakson or Saxby Shameless to step up and offer to repeal it.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Are print newspapers still relevant in Georgia Politics?

I stopped subscribing to the AJC a few years ago, when I woke up to the fact that print media, like so much other, is no longer "news" but propaganda. Bread and circuses controlled by the corporatocracy employing the product of the liberal journalism educational establishment is what is fed to us on a daily basis. The talking head, wall street muppets are the most transparent. This is why the internet is such a threat: they no longer control information. The bashing Ron Paul received made it obvious that the message of liberty was a threat to TPTB. Today we hear nothing of HR 1207 or S 604 audit the fed bill, nor about the illegal usurper now occupying the oval office. We don't get "news", we get 1984.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Isakson Urges Caution on $1 Trillion Health Care Reform That Will Put Government in Unfair Competiti

Caution? Isakson urges caution? Better yet, how about showing us the Constitutional authorization for the US govt to get involved in health care AT ALL. This is a prime example of how there is not a dimes worth of difference between the two parties. Is he proposing that scaled down, government managed health care, aka socialized medicine, is compatible with a free market and individual liberty but the $1T dem version is not? Puleeeeze. Go home Juanny. You've shown your true colors and we don't like them.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Ray McBerry Press Release - GOP Gubernatorial Candidate on Law Enforcement

Outstanding press release, McBerry shows a clear comprehension of the role of the state government and especially the sheriff as being the highest constitutional authority on the land. Now if we can get him and others like him in office starting at the city level going all the way to the governor's mansion, then we can start reasserting our Constitutionally guaranteed liberties and scaling back the leviathan on the Potomac to it's Constitutionally proscribed limits.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Commentary from Jenny Hodges - Georgia's Next Governor- Feat or Fiasco?

Jenny has hit the nail on the head. No other candidate should be trusted with the serious responsibilities of interposition and nullification. Ox is "more of the same" and Handel did zip about throwing out the corrupt Diebold/Premier voting machines. Thankfully we have Ray McBerry to vote for. Would that other states have constitutional patriots like him to vote for. It is past time to stop the feds at the Georgia border. McBerry has my vote.

Thanks for a good, honest review. Would that the election were held today based on the candidates' web sites. McBerry tells it clear and up front. He has my vote.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Handel’s Online Petition Opposing Obama Justice Department Gets Over 6,000 Signatures in 48 Ho

Holder's unconstitutional diktat not withstanding, our elected officials should be standing in strong opposition to this federal intimidation, not managing by poll. Seems like Slick Willie used this tactic and the voters saw through it. I can bet that Ray McBerry wouldn't feel the need to poll his supporters to find out how they felt about it. He would jump into the fray and uphold the Principles of '98. Handel still has not answered why she did not throw out the Diebold/Premier machines.

North Metro-Atlanta Politics : Ray McBerry on DOJ Ruling

Thanks for a great article. This is, no doubt, a perfect example of the unconstitutional over reach by the federal leviathan. One wonders if the folks in DC have even read the Constitution. I think up to 20 states have recently passed legislation reaffirming their state sovereignty under the 10th Amendment. Where is Holder on all this? Nowhere. Ray McBerry has been speaking out against the incursions by the federal govt for a long time, and he is the best candidate for Governor no question. The only rights and freedoms we have are the ones we stand up for. Pay close attention to the actions or inactions by the current office holders and remember come election day.
