First go un Pwned DFU mode with that version of redsn0w, then do the jailbreaking process with that version of redsn0w and that firmware, than you have a 3GS FW 4.1 BB 6.15 perfectly working... Except for the GPS issues, than try with Ultrasn0w to unlock it... I got the same troubles, but i made it... you wont be able to update to any firmware upper than the 4.1, but you still have the iPhone working again...let me know if you do that.
