Zelda Dungeon : Twilight Princess in High Definition

Gotta love texture hacks. They were cool in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, but now I'm surprised to see they're doing it to Twilight Princess. I'm wondering why they haven't done so to Wind Waker yet, but there is no true reason to do it to that. Still, awesome as to what EmuTalk and Dolphin can do. :P

Zelda Reorchestrated : What's this.. an update?

Thanks for finally making a song after 6 weeks. It does sound good, yet I can't remember hearing this...was this when the Lokomo were in spirit form at the end of ST, going up into the heavens?

Zelda Dungeon : Legend of Zelda: Game and Watch

I actually own Game and Watch Gallery 4. It takes just about every single ounce of gameplay ability in order to unlock it, but once I get all of the stars I need, it'll be worth it. Sure, it isn't the original, but it can save me a few hundred, if not thousands of dollars from collectors who charge enormous amounts of money to sell their vintage gaming products.

Zelda Dungeon : Phantom Hourglass Outsells Spirit Tracks

It was perhaps because people looked at Spirit Tracks and thought to themselves "God, this is going to be another Phantom Hourglass." If only those people would've actually picked up the game. Spirit Tracks is much better than Phantom Hourglass, and it disappoints me that these statistics show that people stereotype Spirit Tracks with it's older sibling.

Zelda Dungeon : The Wind Waker in HD

Gotta love Dolphin. It isn't perfect yet because I get only 6 FPS when on Outset (full 30 on intro with some skippy audio), but it is getting there.

Zelda Dungeon : New A Link to the Past Story Page

Having all of the story in the manual seems more like a 1980s thing, where they barely had enough room for the game itself and did not have any room for dialogue explaining the game's plot. Besides, hardly anyone reads the manual, especially how modern games have tutorials that teach the player what buttons to press, what to do, where to go, how to perform a task, etc. With that, there is almost no reason to flip through the manual unless if it had some sort of poster.

Zelda Dungeon : A Link to the Past: Bulldozed and Rebuilt

We put quite a few hours into this thing, but I must say that it looks great. The teamwork between Brandon, Zenox, and I was great when it came to the construction of these pages, but we've got quite a bit more work to do within the section. Keep up the excellent work, Brandon. :)

Awesome song! The only issue I have is that you missed the low-brass part that comes in at 0:21. However, you still managed to capture a lot of the feel from the original WW song. Good job, and keep up the good work.

Zelda Dungeon : What Zelda Wii Needs?

OK, I agree with most of them except for voice acting. Voice acting is not my highest priority and I would rather prefer it be silent, especially with what happened in Super Mario Sunshine and what it resulted in Super Mario Galaxy (Bowser should never utter words, and Peach sounds too...uuhh...sissy. I prefer Peach from the original Super Mario 64 for voice acting). Now, if they don't mess up on the voices and play their cards right like in the Professor Layton series (which has terrific voice acting), then I think I could accept it. I agree that they do need to work on dungeons a bit more. If you don't believe me, compare dungeons from everything before Wind Waker and compare them to WindWaker and beyond. However, I think that would be a bit unfair to put WW on the spot, considering while the dungeon design was superior and varied significantly in design, it suffered a bit from the slightly easy difficulty (yet still a challenge). That also goes with bosses, in which (while they retain their individuality and uniqueness from most/all games) the difficulty should be much more immense. Sidequests are a must, no matter how big or small. If they could somehow manage to work in sidequests from OoT and MM together (in style, not the actual unique sidequests), then that would be awesome. As for character development, you would need something like MM for that to be absolutely perfect. If this game is going for the style of TP again (which it most certainly is), I am not sure as to what the enemy design can be based upon the more realistic-yet-artistic art style. If the events of the game are very constricted (or they manage to put in a massive amount of dialogue and hard work in on an eight gigabyte Wii disc), then I can see this happening. Magic also needs to come back as well. The last appearance of actual magic that Link could exert from his own body was in Wind Waker with the magic armor and generating fire/ice arrows. If that does not count, then the last game that happened would be Ocarina of Time. There are quite a few expectations from Zelda Wii. One of them would be still retaining magic and such with some technological advancement, such as in OoT and MM with the Bombchu, clock, etc. In addition, there should be an option where Wii Motion Plus can be turned off. When it comes to the more hardcore games, I ditch motion controls (unless it is basic swishing) in exchange for standard play (such as in games like the recent PunchOut or Excitebike: World Rally where you could choose the motion controls or the typical NES controls) (except in this case, it would be either Wii Motion Plus, GC controller, Classic Controller, or just basic Wii Remote and Nunchuck). We can only wait for E3 to reveal this title...

Zelda Dungeon : Zelda and Mario Meet Farmville

Farmville+Zelda (or Mario)=Ultimate Epicness! I'd try some of these on my own, but I don't have the room to do so. :P Anyways, these guys did a great job. I really like the one of Link going against what people knew in 1987 as "GANNON" with a fairy and very low set of hearts for the battle and the one of Mario about to pounce on a Goomba. They all did a good job at this, and I expect to see great things from these people as well. :)

Another section that I think needs a bit of TLC would have to be the MM section. I have offered to do a bit of work on it before. :) There isn't really anything dated about the text, but the design and pictures need a bit of modernization.

Zelda Dungeon : Official Nintendo Magazine Timeline

I may not be a timeline theorist, but I know they completely messed up on the location of MC and FSA. If I'm not mistaken, those two titles belong long after OoT, maybe around the time of ALttP. Of course, I'm more an in-game theorist than a timeline theorist.

Zelda Dungeon : Valentine's Day Artwork Gallery

I was working on something, but I'm not the greatest artist and couldn't get it done on time. Perhaps next year or just release it randomly when it is finished. I'm impressed there wasn' t a lot of LinkxTetra, considering that is the closest relationship Link ever had (Sailing on the same boat with Tetra, perhaps having descendants with Tetra, founding Hyrule with her, Link having to save Tetra quite a few times, etc.), yet I saw only two. Still, the artwork was a great job and I give my thanks to the artists who spent their free time making these masterpieces.

Zelda Dungeon : Videogame Character Dating Site

Wow, I had no clue Link was like that. Abusing the power of the Ocarina of Time in order to seduce women and sneak into a fortress populated entirely of women in order to do....things. In addition, Link doesn't have to sneak people into the Gerudo Fortress because he has his membership card. Besides, even though Link was 17, he still had the mind of a 10 year old, so how would he possibly think like this!? Still, it is pretty funny in my opinion. ;)

I've heard about that on a text from G4 Mobile Alerts three days ago. It will also share the spotlight with Super Mario Galaxy 2. Like I've said on my blog for those who don't read it, after this, all of the fake rumors are going to start to go away after, but before E3, they're going to rocket high! Then, we have the release in Japan, where everyone leaks the plot, then the English dub comes by, then the rest of the world.
