Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Judge orders high-testing home schooled children into the system.

Socialization in public schools has a possible down side. If the children in question do indeed test two years ahead of their peers, then they'll learn nothing at the grade level in which they are placed. Undoubtedly, they'll continue to score high. This will lead to such labels as nerd or brain which have derogatory effects on self-esteem. If Socialization is the Judge's lofty goal, maybe he should rethink it. Since his divorce rulings didn't seem to make a lot of sense, it's no wonder this doesn't.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : The New "Food Safety Act" ...

I think Obummer needs to stop whining in a manner which suggests that he has anything to worry about where food safety is concerned. His daughters are accompanied by a Secret Service Agent who will, if necessary, act as official taster. Lets look at a chain analysis of this legislation should it pass. All these proposed rules WILL put down small growers. They won't be able to pay the expenses involved in updating their operations to comply. What will be left are deep pocket corporations able to manage all these expenses. I'm sure you've all heard the old addage about crap rolling downhill. This is a perfect illustration. I can foresee a possible 20% increase in the cost of food from all sources. The reason is twofold: with the small operations dead, there is less food. Supply/demand dictates that prices MUST rise. Production costs have now increased, but its bad business to eat this expense. All these costs will be passed to the consumer as well. I don't think it will be any fun at all being run over by the huge ball of crap Obummer sent down the hill at us.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : HOPE for sensible global warming legislation?

I believe the world is warming, but I DON'T believe human action is the sole cause of it. This idea is a logical fallacy, namely Post Hoc, Ergo Proctor Hoc. Translated to English, this means "with this therefore because of this." Whenever this sort of argument is erected, you can bet your boots it's wrong. No natural event has a single cause. Warm moist air from the gulf is not going to cause a tornado in Missouri by itself. It must be joined by cool dry air off the Rockies or the disaster does not occur. To be fair, I will say humans do contribute, but no amount of study can tell us to what extent. Since scientists are blaming CO2 as the chief cause, maybe we should all stop breathing.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : China is worried about American Financial Obligations?

since the Chinese are being honest that they are worried about our ability to pay our debts, we should return the favor. They should be made aware that their apparent incapacity to make a product safe before exporting them for sale to American children is no less inexcusable. Instead of cowering about the prospect of China calling the debt we owe them, we should find our collective voices. If I remember correctly, American children died as a result of these probucts and the chinese government didn't care.
