If the GOP is saved, it will be saved by the Tea Party and not because they want to be saved, either. It's a hostile takeover and the result is still uncertain. Who will save the Democrat party? They may regain power sooner or later but I contend it will not be with the same failed policies that are bankrupting and destroying this country (and countries all over the world). The GOP needs to return to conservative principles. This is NOT radical. My bet - as a former 26-yr-long Democrat - is Democrats have no principles to return to and cannot quickly or easily be saved. Their entire empire is built on lies and defies human nature and natural laws.

From what I'm hearing the TP movement is working on raising strong primary challengers for a number of Senate RINOs in 2012 (a small number up for reelection) and 2014 (a very big year for retiring GOP senators). We want only strict constitutionalists and hardcore conservatives in the Rubio-Lee-DeMint-Coburn mold. Lugar and Grahamnesty will definitely be primaried, and very likely Cornyn as well.

Republicans are undergoing a hostile takeover by the TP constitutionalists. This is not a rebranding at all, and in fact the GOP is more hostile than ever to the TP. However, if Democrats are to enjoy power again, they will be forced first to repudiate Marxism and statism. Those may have a resurgence but there will never be another 4 years for the Dems like the last 4 until every single one of us now living is dead and all the lessons are forgotten. It is Democrat/Marxist policies and compromising statist Republicans that have brought this country to the brink of destruction. The Ruling Class needs to be burned at the stake. And without RINOs, Democrats would never have any success anywhere at all. Republicans have to get back to our principles, and Democrats must fundamentally reinvent - not rebrand - their party and principles. They must give up all their victim groups and prove they love this country and are not working every moment for its demise. So far they are utterly incapable of doing this.

I was present at the debate, though I did not witness the altercations with the Kemble. I do know for fact that the person Hinchey pushed Kemble into was in fact George Phillips! I am an avid Phillips volunteer and have been for at least 6 months, doing door-to-doors and a LOT of phone bank calls. Phillips is the real deal and is a Reagan conservative. Hinchey is a Marxist and one of the few in the entire Dem side of the House who refused to vote for sanctions on Iran. He's pro-Islamist and anti-Israel, exactly as Mayor Koch says. Hinchey's performance in the debate was truly dreadful and he sounded much more like a 30s Soviet apparatchik than a candidate for office in 2010. His idea of improving the monstrous Obamacare law is to make Single Payer the law of the land - he said so in the debate. He also believes the rich are not taxed nearly enough and that the money all citizens earn is the government's, not our own. A question from the audience asked about this (about all the money the rich are keeping rather than sending to the government to be used for the benefit of all) and he agreed. It is extremely clear that nothing that has occurred in this country in the last 18 months vis-a-vis the Tea Party movement has permeated his thick and apparently senile skull, and he called us, the audience, either "uninformed" or "ignorant" more than once. We cannot be rid of this man soon enough here in NY and in the entire country! Don't count Hinchey's winning votes yet. Many of us here believe George Phillips will be our next U.S. Representative.

I'll watch "The Matrix" anytime, anyplace, on cable, on blu-ray, doesn't matter. It is almost a perfect movie. Every time I think about watching the other 2, I decide to do something, anything else. They were hard slogs the first time through. No way will I waste my time on anything else by these loons.
