This author (a Think Tank) insists in smearing China’s intentions referring to a non-existent “playbook” that he calls: The Health Silk Road. He provides a link that leads, not to a legitimate Chinese source; but to his own, declared employer: The Asia Times”.

No genuine oficial Chinese English language media, returns any results for such a search.

Since China does not seem to have any hidden agenda, it published its geopolitical doctrine in an oficial White Paper titled: China and the World in the New Era.

Even China haters should read it. Nothing to lose (except ignorance).

The Health Silk Road is a Pepe Escobar fabrication aimed at diminishing Chinas moral raise as a selfless Good Samaritan.

Who is Spasibo? Can he back up Escobar with verifiable facts? They don’t exist.

The proof of my suspicions will be the steps Pompeo and his troupe take to smear China’s help to the world.

Read the Chinese MSM in English. China is hiding nothing!
And, while at it, search their archives and find that they never did. There were missteps at the beginning while trying to identify the problem; but they kept the WHO informed. That is what the WHO testifies; despite your source’s “creativity”.

After a deep search in the Chinese English language MSM, there is absolutely zero reference to any Health Silk Road construct. The author's link leads to Italy.

Also, the Initiative draws from a Doctrine clearly exposed in China’s White Paper not on any dubious ”Belt and Road Initiative playbook”.

If the author has a bias, it is clearly not pro-China.

This piece, probably put together by a committee, does not reflect the exact Russian position as stated by the officials involved. It also ignores the bottom line: the OPEC “partners” were asking Russia to help the US profit from higher prices to allow its oil to displace Russia from the markets, a process the US is forcing by sanctioning those who trade or collaborate with Russia,
So no, Russia is not betraying its OPEC partners. The OPEC “partners”, manipulated by the US, stabbed Russia in the back. Saudi Arabia is just following the script. Just like the author of this “objective” diatribe.
Lets see how Mister Escobar covers this ”level” playing ground.
