O'Day, Figueroa and Fossum are all 25th men. If your 25th man has a big impact on your season, I think there are bigger issues at play. From a human level, the move sucks. Figueroa did his job Sunday, and he could have been your long relief guy until Tim Redding was ready to take that role. But because Jerry can't trust Ollie to turn in a decent start (or tell him to suck it up and take one for the team if he's awful again), Figgy gets shafted. Not cool.
