West Ham Till I Die : Matthew Taylor On His Way to Upton Park

Don't forget we still have Illunga on the books, he will do a more than good job in the Championship the Brown and Fry to keep him on his toes. Oh how I wish we still had Deprela, a year on he would have been a legend this year. Faubert is still about too, another player that could gain some confidence in this league.

the cull has begun ! Eyjolfsson has confirmed that he has left the club. Thought he was going to be a top defender, he probably will be but not with us. Good luck fella. Who's next ?

West Ham Till I Die : A New Kiwi Hammer?

I'd be surprised if he was more than 2Mil, but his wages would be very low, so could be graet cover if nothing else. We have Jordan Spence that can play RB, if this Kiwi is BETTER thann him we've got a bargain !!

You beat me to it EC, Ryan Nelson is vastly underated and a phenominal captain. I would love G&S to get him in, he would shore the defence up for sure, but don't think Blackburn would sell him !!

Your right Jack he does play for PSV and is left back not right. Roma are apparently interested and ready to offer 4 million Euros so not too expensive for a quality player. Keeping the Mexican theme, I would take Marquex for 'my' vacant centre back position and Barrera up front too !!

hi Jack I like the look of the Mexican Juarez but would also look at their right back Sociedo (spelling??) he gets forward well, has a wicked shot and defends very well. Not sure who he plays for but would guess he would be a cheap buy. Personally I would like to see the back of: Green, Upson, Gabbidon, Spector, Illunga, Kovac, Stanislas, Noble, Diamanti, Dyer and McCarthy. Looks like a whole team !! could do a good job in the fizzy pop league but not good enough for the Premier. I would like to see players who want the shirt and battle like Parker. It's going to be an interesting year.

West Ham Till I Die : Sullivan: You're All For Sale (Except Scott)

I only said I wouldn't be sad to see those players leave!! But yes, if they can't perform for the huge money they are paid then ship them out. I don't like lazy players who only turn up when it suits them. There was a few VERY good performances throughout the season, if they can do it once why not for the rest of the year. I want 100% players not show ponies who can only be bothered when it suits them. Potentially I agree, this is the base of a good squad but only on paper, and that my freind counts for nowt. We will all have our own opinions so lets just embrace them, my opinion is different to yours but it dosn't mean either of us is wrong.

Anyone on here who thinks we don't need a BIG sort out is delusional. Most of the squad have under achieved this year so the axe should fall. So, here is my list of players whom I wouldn't be sad to see the back of in truth: Green, Upson, Gabbidon, Spector, Illunga, Kovac, Stanislas, Diamanti, Dyer, Mido, McCarthy, Payne, Franco (too old) and at a push if the dollar was right Berhami. We are linked with Dorrans from west brom he would be a good addition from what I have seen. Please, next year can we have player willing to earn a place in the team and be proud to wear the shirt, and finally give 100% EVERY game. We should all be greatful the PL was poo this year cos' otherwise we would be playing fizzy pop fotball for a couple of years or so

West Ham Till I Die : Redemption, but We Must Heed the Lessons of History!

Oliver, I was quite vocal regarding Zola's position. Hands up I said he should go. and surprise surprise I have not changed my mind 1% !! We only stayed up because the teams around us were so poor not because he, all of a sudden became a master tactician. I still feel he is not ready to manage at this level, no doubt he is a good coach and I would love him to stay as the palyers seem to love him and that in itself speaks volumes of the man. Personally if we could tempt Avram Grant with GZ as coach this could be a match made in heaven, but hey that's just my opinion. Overall a tough season to be a hammer, we have been through the mire in many ways but we live to fight another season in the top flight, we must however have a GOOD look at the squad this summer.

West Ham Till I Die : Vote: Player Performances v Stoke City

No way can a team play soooo bad for 6 or 7 games on the trot. I tell you now, there is something going on!! Definately somethings behind the scenes that we know nothing of and the shit is going to hit the fan real soon. We may never know, but all is not right behind closed doors mark my words. Parker can stay everyone else starting with the manager can foxtrot oscar I am ashamed to be a hammer right now, we are the laughing stock of the PL and without doubt will go down now. To be honest I don't give a shit.

West Ham Till I Die : West Ham 1 Wolves 3: Match Report

Not posted for a while but can't keep away from this post. As hammers fans on here we all have opinions, we don't always agree, but they are OUR opinions none the less. ChrisChris and I both saw the writting on the wall with Zola 3 or 4 months ago, we got blasted everytime we said sack him. I hoped I was wrong and that he would turn it around. The players all back him and he is a genuine well-liked man and I believe a good coach too. BUT, a manager he is not. He has no idea about the modern game, tactics or man management. If he worked for a company in the 'real world' his performances would have led him to be sacked long ago. Football is performance based, just like sales, miss your targets consistently and your out, why should he escape just cos' he smiles and nods his head. He has no ability to gee the players up, lets be honest, these are NOT chumps, these are genuinely good players (I think !) that just don't play, together...... WHY???? I would rather see a player not so gifted/talented run his socks off for the shirt, pretty football is nice if you have an end result, we don't. Time has come to kick some arse, if the players are not willing then drop them and bring in a reserve team player cos' I bet he would give 100% whoever he is. I hope Zola walks, short term bring in either Keen, Carr or hopefully Sir Trev, perhaps all 3. Then next year look to a manager with some balls who takes no prisoners. I like Billy Davis, he has taken Forest to a new level, or Martin Jol. But my 1st choice would be Avram Grant. He has made Pompey play with style and guts even though they already Know they are goners. He is tactically up with the best and very underated. Last nights performance has left me very down, but not out, I'm still proud to say I'm a hammer and always will be. It may be a blessing if we go down, for sure there will be a MASS clear-out of the deadwood make no mistake. We live to fight another day, we are just all feeling a little cheated right now.

Go back two or three months, ChrisChris and I both said Zole was crap, we got blasted, everyone said 'give him time' - 'we can't change the manager now' - and worst of all ' in Zola we trust'. Come on now fellas admit we were right. he is CRAP and if he is manager next year I'll dance naked in the centre circle with the hammerettes at out 1st home game in the fizzy pop league. That was so poor I won't even comment. None of the them desrve to wear the shirt let alone be paid a King's ransome for doing so.
