Didn't show up in the Media Center, at first, but after closing the application and restarting, there it was. Only minor delay after that was downloading and installing Silverlight. Haven't tried it yet, but I have an HDMI port on my laptop, and will see if I can play back on my television; should work, but even if it doesn't, for some reason, I'm happy enough. That's what has me upset -- I don't like saving for what, to me, is an expensive piece of equipment, only to have the (supposedly reputable) manufacturer tell me, after mere months, that I'm high and dry. Personally, I won't likely install the updates, because they don't provide additional functionality that I require. But it looks to me like the people at MediaSmartServer.net have poured their hearts into providing the very features that HP should have done themselves, and in doing so, have proved just what lies HP has tried to feed former customers such as me.
