This is mostly for the advertising of the "Most authentic Madden yet." Which I'm sure most of us can live without the "JJ" and "9" stickers for helmets and the hideous Seahawks uniforms. I hope they aim to fix the amount of the goaline judges cutscene, everytime someone hits the 1 yardline, is a bit much. And waiting a month for these minor changes is total BS.
