Gear Patrol | The Definitive Men's Resource : Opedix PS Posture Shirt

Greg - This one really works to pull your back and shoulders into better alignment, thus the better posture. I could feel it as soon as I put it on. Other compression shirts I've tried just felt like a tight shirt. But maybe that's just me.

Pete - I don't think even with a collar it would work for the top layer at a golf course, but you are right that it works great as a compression shirt. In a more workout setting it would be fine by itself.

Gear Patrol | The Definitive Men's Resource : Taylormade Penta TP 5 Layer Golf Ball

Jim - That is true for most higher end balls. The Penta is different in that it has layers designed to compress at different club head speeds. This way you are not overly penalized for slower club head speeds. I agree faster will compress more, but you should still be able to get enough out of this golf ball to make it worth playing. Overall if your driver speed is over 90 MPH which many golfers can achieve than you should be ok. But I would try them out first to be sure.
