Oh lovely. IntenseDebate is getting rather annoying, clumping all the comments together...I had posted: America needs to WAKE UP to the threat of Islam. This is not a religion of peace--it is a religion of enslavement. Rifqa's fears are real and valid. She said it herself: They must kill her. Just look in the Qur'an. My heart truly goes out to this girl. I broke down crying for her; I'm absolutely frightened for her and I'm not even the one in that situation...she's so much braver than I could ever be. I fear for this girl's life too...it's a very real and tragic thing for a child to actually fear for her life -- I wouldn't discredit her concerns one bit. Florida's such a long way from Ohio...and Orlando? It can be a scary place, especially for a teenaged girl. I travel there often (most recently for my 18th birthday), but never alone that I can recall. She's in my (and my family's) prayers. If they release her to the custody of her parents, they may as well be signing her death warrant. I just hope her lawyers adequately point out the significance of apostacy in Islam.

I disagree. I think Mo has brought up some very valid points. Where is the dishonesty? Where's the unfairness? Under sharia, adulterers may be stoned and apostates may be killed. Indeed, further allowing such activities to take place is a criminal act in and of itself. So, again, how are these points unfair or dishonest?

Since when has the mainstream media become the epitome of truth? Leftists do a whole lot of preaching on the need to be "tolerant" but do little to practice it themselves. I would go as far to say that tolerance is their religion, and they have made it their mission to impose it upon everyone -- if one does not conform, however, they are demonized and ostracized: an act of intolerance in and of itself. Paradoxically, the left continues to be intolerant to any idea that is right-wing which they so childishly dub "extremist." IS there any political figure or people who are towards the right that AREN'T christened extremist?

Of course perverts are everywhere -- however that doesn't mean that a person IS perverted because of his religion. Watch your post hoc, ergo propter hoc; you aren't going to bring people to your views with half-baked assertions. Christians are NOT permitted or taught to have sex before marriage, to forcibly rape women or children, etc...Muslims are, according to the Qur'an, permitted to have wives as young as six years of age. If a Muslim man marries a six-year-old, it's logical to assume he has married a young child because his religion permits it. The Qur'an backs up his actions. If a Christian does such, it's a different story -- the Bible does not permit what the Qur'an permits. Also, I do not understand how dumbledoresarmy sounded "angry." Unless you were attempting an ad hominem attack, that was completely incorrect to assume.
