Agreed. The past two nights have been pretty bad. I'll be back out there tonight, and just for good measure, I'm bringing 10 extra people with me. Between the bump in ticket prices from last year and the cold weekday evenings, attendance has been painfully sparse this week.

I agree that the offense doesn\'t really scare me too much. And as long as everyone stays healthy, I\'m okay with our starters (I think. We\'ll see how things go with Jurrjens tonight in his first big league start). As has been the case for the past couple of years, I\'m still concerned about the bullpen.

So the game time was 4:28 according to the big screen....

Anyways, in hindsight, this is definitely a game that we can attribute to losing via unearned runs. Either way though, it was a great home opener to be at. The energy in the stands during the ninth inning rally was pretty incredible.

Double play to end the Braves hopes in the 10th.

Boyer\'s on to pitch the 11th. We\'ve decided that Jurrjens is the next pitcher should we need more. Boyer is our last pen pitcher. Boyer made quick work of the Pirates in 11 however so he should be good for 1 more at least. 4:07 into the game so far.

The Pirates forgot how play fundamental baseball and let a routine fly ball drop in. 2 runs score and the game\'s tied, 9-9!
