Yes, I know, I participated. And no, I did not like the results but I respect them. Even so, I did not give up my RIGHT to speak out about my dissatisfaction with the corrupt politicians (all flavors) and their theft from me. 2010? Yes, WE (Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Libertarians, Constitutionalists) are working on "spring cleaning" action plan now.

The IRS took back $300 of the $600 dollars they "gave out" last year. Why does the federal government believe they can take excessive tax money from people in one year and then dole some of it back out to you the next year, but then take some of back from you the year thereafter? I'm tired of the unfair games.

I have noticed that left leaning newspapers and the news networks keep repeating the same lie about the TEA Parties being attended by racist, right-wing Republicans. I am an independent who is definitely not racist nor right wing. This was my first protest but will not be my last! These radical leftists are trying to turn our TEA Party into race issue by saying all of these 4/15/09 protesters don't want a black president. They are justifying it by saying that Republicans were not outraged with the Bush administration spending (actually they were and said so) so now why all of a sudden are they upset with the "black" man's spending? The Democrats were upset about the spending by the Bush administration and did nothing about it (even though their party had control of Congress (held the purse strings) since Jan 2007). Now all of a sudden, they seem pleased with the spending by the Obama administration, which has more than tripled the Bush admin debt in a period of just 3 months. Why did Democrats have a problem with Bush spending but not Obama spending? Is it because Bush is a "white" man? And why didn't the Democrats organize a nationwide protest against the Bush spending? They sure complained enough about it.

I have a question about the executive bonuses at AIG that came due today. People are saying that there is really no way to avoid not paying out the bonuses because the people (those who made the contracts with these execs) would be saddled with lawsuits. Question: IS THIS THE AMERICAN'S PEOPLE PROBLEM? The American People loaned AIG the money to keep them from sinking. Not giving the execs their bonuses has nothing to do with the viability of their company. The American People are not parties to these contracts and isn't OUR problem. Those who made these contracts are responsible for any legal ramifications.
