Look at your own household, if you over spend you are in debt and must repay, if you dont repay you are hounded by those you owe. We should expect the same with our Government. Well, we elect our Government officials and we can vote them out. We have become lazy and elect people without knowledge of what they believe in and now it is time for all of us, including me, to become better educated about who we put in control of our Government. America is a success because, as our founding fathers believed, you work hard and you have a voice and can prosper. For those who want the Government to take care of you...well, I have no respect for you, you are not a real American. I have MS and could easily ask the Government to take care of me BUT where is the benefit in that, I have lost all pride if I do that. It is not a time for blame but it is a time for logical, realistic reflection. Do you REALLY want the Government to be your nanny and tell you how to live your life? I believe a petition with these issues be put forth on this site, we all sign and make a printable version so we can take to our friends and neighbors to sign. And also those petitions should be available at all upcoming tea parties. We then send the petitions to our local congressmen and most important to the WH. If the WH does not listen then I think with signed petitions we have further recourse. I am not a lawyer or a student of law but can we not take petitions with enough signatures to to the Supreme court to have our issues heard?
