CHENEY'S SPEECH HAD BEEN SCHEDULED FOR WEEKS. I believe the proper way to report this event, would be to say that President Obama was so insecure about V. P. Cheney's speech that he chose to preempt with a speech of his own. News reporting has gotten so unbelievably distorted.
