Big Hollywood : Red Letter Media Eviscerates 'Indy 4's' Awful Storytelling and Left-Wing Politics

Too low bro and unsophisticated - why does Big Hollywood associate with unfunny simpletons merely because they are right of center?

Congrats you have more space - cheaper too! But I'll keep my Met, and Carnegie Hall thanks. Simply out Palns and Bachmans and Perry's gaffs show a horrid lack of understanding history and those who defend such gaffs a d those who applaud "simple" speech are the death of the GOP. Someone like Beck is fine for middle America but the conservative movement needs voices on the coasts too.

Listen...I spoke to a person who I will not name who has first hand knowledge of the McCain camp fruitless attempt to get Gov Palin to grasp simple diplomatic issues of foreign policy. She was not ready for the prime time period! Of course the Dems and media had it in for her -unfairly. But her mama grizzly absurdity was a cringe inducing laughingstock! Of course the "journalist's" are in the tank for Obama but damn it Every GOP candidate should be smart enough to take them down a peg and deftly point out their bias questions why still appealing to independents - I thought Newt did a fair job of that once. As for hick culture I am sorry but when Big Hollywood celebrates an ignorant hick with 3rd grade humor like Larry the Cable guy in his sleeveless shirt and trucker hat as some great American entertainer I want to vomit!!! Do you know how the GOP looks to the refined set that would vote against Obama if the reps put up someone decent? Do you know how we look to the rest of the world??? It's nauseating ! Hey Tea Party - appreciate your efforts and patriotism but for god sakes stop going to rallies in blue jeans and an American eagle T-Shirt!

Materialist? No it's called culture class and refinement - something that is absent in the most popular conservative voices! I think VA's governor would do well, even Gov Kasich or Rep Pence

Wow!!! You really have no idea that I was being a smartass do you? Sigh....you see, I was implying that you went to a laughingly sub-standard school like DeVry...oh never mind! I'll make it simply. The media controls all the marbles - if the GOP leaders can't work within the media and the coasts to their advantage thy are doomed! Obama will win in 2012 guaranteed!

The party is doomed when a former White House staffer and conservative republican points out the extreme error of the GOP's ways and s dismissed as a DaikyKos Marxist. Someone, who owns more than one suit, knows the difference between lowlands and Islay scotch, can appreciate Bach, Gershwin, and Dorsey a d know the difference between them all, eagerly attends impressionist art exhibits, have traveled the world, and would prefer a fine French restaurant over McDonalds 100 out of 100 times needs to take CONTROL of the GOP from the dumb hicks currently in control!

Of course the media is obsessed! So if the RNC were s art they would push these people to the side! They embarrass us! And why the hell would the RNC attach the, selves to such a charlatan as Trump for a debate? You people need to stop celebrating ignorance and simplicity and hick culture !

Who knew they taught Derrida at DeVry? So go ahead and deconstruct my original argument. Celebrating the lowest common denominator in culture, intellect, articulateness, and political arguments have neutered the GOP! That is fact. For someone like Palin who probably has no clue who Burke, Kirk or even Buckley are, and to have no discernibly grasp on foreign affairs is a giant albatross around the GOP! The leftist media LOVE this - get these ignoramuses with goatees a d snowmobiles off center stage!!

So you are incapable of discerning what culture, class, and refined manner are? Todd Palin is no different than the kardashians in celebrating the lowest common denominator. Obama is a dismal failure but the republican field is an embarrassment! Most of them show an extremely lack of intellect and grace. But you People who defend the Palins are the worse! Sorry but to lose in a battle if wits to the pathetic Katie Couic is a joke. Sure the media loves Palin in the spotlight but stop defending this loving and patriotic family who are far too common, simple and lack all intellectual curiosity. The party of Goldwater and Reagan and the political philosophy of Burke, Buckley, and Sowell has turned into an embarrassing vision of Larry the Cable guy! Every political leader and conservative pundit are extremely polarizing! Take a hint and shed the denim and camouflage hats, stop pointing to Palin as your savior and stop thinking that Toby Keith is the height of musical culture and then the GOP will have a chance.

Jenny - appreciate your enthusiasm but do yourself aND your party a favor and be quiet! Unless you are speaking to people in small towns far aware from sophisticated culture you are only hurting your cause. Todd Palin is just simple, uneducated, unsophisticated, red neck simpleness - do defend him as anything more just slauters your cause

It's quite easy being superior when the republican field is a horrifically embarrassing SUB-intellectual, unsophisticated, and white trash mess.
Dear God, no! When will this embarrassment go away? While the Left engages in class warfare of Marxian proportions, the right and their slavish adherents to Palin, Bachman, et al, are equally engaged in class warfare supporting simpletonism, ignorance and the lowest common denominator in class and culture. Since when did patriotism and Conservatism become the hallmark of the unsophisticated, community college, hick set? The republican party is doomed attaching to such people as Perry, Bachman, Palin, Cain, etc! Intellect and urbanity are not dirty words people!!!

Big Hollywood : 4th of July: Thank You, Lee Greenwood

I strongly disagree - in fact I find Greenwood's “God Bless the USA,” painful to listen to. It is just a simplistic song without the class and musical intricacies of true American classics from Sousa, Berlin, Gershwin, and Cohan. The second problem is that low common denominator of a country twang. Sadly, all the patriotism and conservatism seems to be emanating from the South (and Alaska), whose songs, and political arguments (although correct) are inarticulate and lack sophistication. I want patriotism bouncing off the walls in America, I want new songs, and new conservative political leaders, but I would much prefer to hear Kate Smith sing “God Bless America,” and another William F. Buckley, Jr as the face of modern conservatism, and certainly not Lee Greenwood and Sarah Palin. This country needs to become more urbane, and Lee Greenwood and his unsophisticated song about this great nation is the exact opposite of that.
