To ilustrate, instead of the term, "single mother", when is the last time you considered the term, "Unwed mother",? The latter carries a stigma with it - because it indicates accountability (sadly, a new idea for many.) Since the term "unwed mother" has been "lost", so has it concept of accountability. However, I like the idea of at least 1 chance for re-election for Pres, Senator and congressman, so that they are not automatically lame-ducks. I still like the following maximums: Pres: 2x 4 year terms, Senator: 2 x 6 year terms, Congressman: 3 x 2 year terms. MONEY: REturn to the Gold Standard!! Why rely on paper? Isn't this why we got into this current trouble in the first place? BUDGET: No deficit spending unless in time of declared war. Lower the federal budget across the board, except military spending.
