Ah, Family Guy. You used to be funny once (and frankly, the only thing I find consistently funny in the show nowadays is Mayor West. Because Adam West can make anything sound funny).

I'm not against self-deprecating humor, but knowing Seth MacFarlane's track record, I don't want to see this episode made. His Star Wars parodies (although I'll admit that Blue Harvest was actually decent) showed that he can screw the pooch even on a subject that he's passionate about.

As for this picture, I only have three things to say: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWH9rTprWbQ

(Sorry for the late reply. Just noticed yours.)

That, and Fallout never really took itself seriously (considering the absurdity of it's premise, it's setting and the amount of black comedy). Fallout: Equestria took itself WAY too seriously for it's own good.

Considering that the episodes hammers in that (in more ways than one), she's "stuck in the past", then yes.

All I have to say is...what a great finale.

Let's face it. We knew that Starlight was going to be redeemed and to be perfectly honest, I was OK with that. Since she was the only antagonist who actually believed that what she was doing was for the greater good, she was the most likely to be redeemed out of all the other big antagonist (more likely than Discord, in my opinion). And yes, I know her backstory was rather cheap and it seems like it's a weak reason to start a cult,it kinda goes hand-in-hand with the idea that small things having huge consequences (and the fact that many real-life cults really did started as such).

Is it a good heel-face turn? Still not sure about that. Like Sunset, she has to go a long way before she becomes likable. But, as for the end of season 3, I'll reserve my judgement until season 6. I have a feeling that Starlight will spend a lot of time adapting and trying to control her mood swings.

Well, it does go hand in hand with the theme that small events can have huge consequences.

What else can I day? Great character interaction, great moral, awesome music, what more can I expect.

I especially like the fact that the moral is the complete opposite of the Hannah Montana movie (although I with that the manager was more like Barry Bostwick just so that I could scream "ASSHOLE" to him). And of course, nothing is more beautiful than two old friends rekindling a friendship.

Amy Keating Rogers, you surpassed yourself with this episode. Good luck with Disney and if you hit a bump on this road, don't forget your time here.

We already knew that unicorns could do it (Trixie did it back in "Magic Duel").

That's really great. That's the kind of reference Bethesda would do (they made tons of them in Fallout 3 and Skyrim). Recognizable, yet not "in your face obvious".

And I'm glad that they are reference to the actual show (I personally can't stand Fallout: Equestria.).

Still can't wait.

At least I can finally stop listening to "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" for a while (that song is getting annoying).
