I've always liked JoPa...but the fact he didn't perform the due diligence of ensuring Sandusky was questioned/arrested was just too much to me. If I were in his shoes, and heard what he apparently heard (that little boys were being raped by one of my coaches) I would have scorched the earth to make sure the situation was handled. It seems pretty clear he passed a hot potato on to the next guy, in the hopes they would "deal with it".

Navidog, get your facts straight before you keep posting your ridiculous tripe on these comment boards. I've seen you trolling around on a few stories, trying to "educate us" with your drivel. You literally are incorrect on every one of your little pontification sessions. A "second engine company" is not a 2nd engine. It is a 2nd alarm. Completely different, Mr. Deputy Fire Marshall. BFD arrived on scene with a full commercial response, which likely included 3 engines, 2 ladders, a medic unit, aid car and a battalion chief (a MINIMUM of 20 or so firefighters). WAY different than a 2nd engine company. Commercial responses already provide a "beefed up" response...so the delay makes sense. I drove by the business yesterday morning, had it not gotten out of control it could have easily been handled by a first alarm commercial response, especially from a department as good as Bellevue. A SECOND ALARM (not a 2nd engine company) would have called for additional units from other jurisdictions (Redmond, Kirkland, etc.). A 3rd alarm was eventually struck, which brought units from Seattle in. Would you really expect a large fire department to only send ONE engine company to a fire in a business? It's pretty damn clear why you're not in the fire service anymore, and I guarantee every fireman reading your comments think you're a moron. Now please, go peddle your BS someplace else.
