Since the only effect of the Hamas terror rockets is just to cause Israel to respond with deadly force, you would THINK that the military geniuses in Gaza would figure out that they should stop their (useless, or worse than useless) terror campaign. Perhaps having dead bodies to photo-op and "cry" over is more important to them than peace is??

Daily Camera.com: : A peace offering - Boulder Daily Camera

If only the Israelis would be reasonable and agree to either relocate en masse to somewhere else far from the Islamic lands (where? what about that area's current inhabitants?? - don't know and don't care) or else commit mass suicide, this whole problem would be solved. Why are the Israelis allowed to be so intransigent and dogmatic?

I wonder what would happen to an openly gay person walking down the street in Nablus? Or to a woman wearing a tank top? Or to some Hare Krishnas or Buddhists in their robes?? Too ugly to contemplate. Y - Nablus would be a great sister city for Boulder.

Stop hyperventilating. Our republic has deep democratic roots (unlike the People's REPUBLIC of North Korea) so much so that people sometimes refer to our government as a "democracy." The false, professorial indignation over the use of that term is threadbare and tired. Find a fresher talking point.

A hallmark of democracy is the acceptance of defeat of one's position or candidate and the acceptance of minority opinion. Islam is notoriously bad at both of these, and it should be no surprise that many learned Imams preach that democracy and Islam are incompatible: http://www.emirates247.com/news/region/election-i... http://en.ammonnews.net/article.aspx?articleNO=19... http://www.payvand.com/news/13/jan/1105.html http://edition.cnn.com/2013/04/28/world/asia/paki... Sharia, with its inherent supremacist treatment of Muslims and denigration of non-Muslims, and which is the heart of Islam, would seem to rule out the peaceful coexistence of various groups and opinions that is the essence of the democratic meme. The assumption that Islam is just a religion like any other, and should therefore not view democracy differently than other religions do, is little more than ignorance in the service of a baseless myth. Here is a recent opinion piece on the subject: http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/07/is_islam_c...

Many professors work in the private sector. There pay then becomes a benchmark for the civil-servant professors who work for the state. So CU profs are "overpaid" only of their PRIVATE SECTOR colleagues are too. So why is the private sector "overpaying" people??

Another tautology - there are "more folks" with professorships than there are coaches because there are more professor positions available. A college has a handful of teams that need coaches, but hundreds if not thousands of courses that need professors. And as noted above, lousy, failed coaches often make more than good, successful, inspiring professors.

Less than half of all coaches are "successful" even now, if by "success" you mean "post winning records." So why are those failures paid so much??
Yo - 1Love - instead of worrying about my "misunderstanding" Islam, which, even if it were the case, has no consequences other than my personal mistake, why don't you contact these fellow religionists of yours and explain to THEM how they have Islam all wrong: http://www.denverpost.com/breakingnews/ci_2360997... Salaam :) PS - although the story is spun as a negative thing, on the bright side, 30 fewer kuffir, and the remaining ones are duly terrorized.
