Please, somebody (from HGTV) just tell me I've won, and then we can all relax a little. The wait is killing us all. I won't tell anybody, but maybe you could all come visit and you might just happen to see a big ol' bunch of balloons. But for all we know, maybe they aren't doing balloons this year. Maybe things are a whole lot different, just to keep everybody guessing, especially the neighbors!

It makes me wonder if they do several background checks, the winner and a couple of runners up, just in case there's a problem near the end. I sure hope they're doing a nearly live ambush because that would mean we all still have a chance. C'mon over, ambush team. I'm here and I don't have many neighbors that would see at all. And they really do know how to keep their mouths shut. This is a very safe place to do it!!!

Yeah, when they showed up at my door an hour away from you, they said they gave up and decided to come out here to the country where there's all of this open space. :-) I told them you'd be sad, but they said they have to stay focused on getting the job done. Ha ha ha! But I'm happy to let you come visit, soak in the hot tub, enjoy the outdoor fireplace, watch a movie in the outdoor living room. You'll need a getaway often from all of those people using your street as their parking lot!

I think I'll make it REALLY easy for them, and go hang out by the security guard at the house. It's only 45 min. away, and they could very easily just surprise me by pulling up while I'm gawking at the home's beauty and landscape. Then they'll have no trouble finding me at all!!!

I just thought maybe they'd send you the papers (saying you're a finalist), you'd send them back, and then the ambush would be a surprise because you wouldn't \"know\" you were the winner, and you wouldn't know if/when they'd be coming. But who knows??? I guess I'd have to be the winner to figure it all out, and then I couldn't tell anyone. such a dilemma.

Therein lies the confusion for me. If they call (like we've heard they do) and say, \"You're a finalist,\" but you haven't signed anything yet, then you could go blab that around. But if they contact you and have you sign the agreement saying you won't spill the beans, and then do the ambush, I could see how it wouldn't get out at least until the neighbors spotted the activity at your house. My mind is full� of wonderings.

Okay, so here's the question. Do you have to sign those legal papers BEFORE you're ambushed, or after? If it's before, then time has run out and the lucky winner has already done so, I'm sure. But if it's after, there still is time for us dreamers. My other question is, where's Bee? Oh, Bee, are you the winner and that's why you've up and disappeared from here? It's just mighty strange that she posted so often every day (or at least said when she'd be gone) and then she just stops. Highly suspicious, if you ask me. But then again, at this point, everything is suspicious. Even the bikers and joggers that pass my house - I think, "Hmmm, are you really just scouting the place out?" Scout away, guys. I'm good with that.
