You couldn't be more wrong if you tried! I didn't even *attempt* to tell anyone what to do, how to think, or what to spend money on, did I? Nope, not even close. Have a nice day.

There really isn't a lot of damage done when a monster truck rolls over--unless it's to whatever the truck rolls over *on* . . . .

Nor is it a hobby for those of us who have much better things to spend our money, imaginations and time on.

Looks like fun, I agree, but I'm very happy that *I'm* not paying the fuel bill for even just one of those!

Apartment manager to Mr. Glavin after a full recovery: "I'm sorry about your injuries, Mr. Glavin, and I'm very happy that you're fully recovered, but there's just one slight problem. We're going to have to raise your rent since your apartment now has a garage. I'm sure you can understand our p-o-sition on this matter-- value added?"

"Short" is also the antonym of "Tall". In this case, it's a matter of syntax.

A bridge could p-o-ssibly be feasible if they were to upgrade and extend N. Portland Rd from where it intersects Columbia Blvd and then over the slough, as you prop-o-se, but I see no way for a highway to connect from Jantzen Beach/Hayden Island to SR 14 on the Washington side. SR 14 westbound ends at I-5. Then, too, there's a LOT of industrial area in the way even if they could p-o-ssibly connect to 501/Mill Plain. Worth considering, definitely, but might just be another $150,000,000 design boondoggle.
