If he does, that's why. That'll be why they called the audible at mania. They didn't want to end mania with boos, and cheers are guaranteed on another continent, it's why TNA LOVED their UK shows.
They're totally doing this to put the belt on Roman in a place where people will cheer only because "YAY WRESTLING IS HERE," not for any reason tied to actual over-ness.
I wonder how much D-Young accidentally extended his career by coming out as gay. Like I'm not saying he planned it that way, but I have this mental image of a meeting where the WWE are talking about who they want to release, about to say Darren Young just as he's coming out on TV and the PR department just shakes their head to skip that name on the list for now haha.
It's been apparent for years that Wrestlemania is "for the brand" (much like RAW) and NXT is "for the fans." Takeover on Mania weekend is the real show.
If they really wanna compete with Game of Thrones, someone's gotta get dropped on one of those flag stands impaled and gushing blood.
Sooo... the race is on to see which country expresses outrage regarding their flag touching the floor... My money's on USA.
So the million dollar question in predicting the World title match: Has the Indian tour happened yet? If not, Mahal wins, Corbin doesn't cash in.
S**t finish, but honestly if you look at the "character" of Baron Corbin, what does he care for wins and losses when he feels he can just "become champion" at will? It's not like his win/loss record, to a "character" like Corbin means jack squat when he has the briefcase. It's like he's applying his own psychology to the traditional "job the hell out of the MITB winner because he's essentially always in the title picture" schtick.
