Fort Hood calls itself 'the great place" and it is never more evident than the present...people are reaching out to help each other...life happens and we do live in interesting times, consequently, this sort of insanity will happen...imagine, a healer killing his own...except in the direst of circumstances, this should never happen...Hate is something that harms all of those around it...it is just the actions of a weak mind, a twisted soul, and a dislike of all that is good in life and people. Would I have stopped him using any and all force, have killed him to stop his rampage? Yes. I would not have ever thought of him again, only of the pain he caused others. As one who knows, not everyone comes back twisted and tortured by war...those who have and I have known some, can and do recover, if they have the capacity to be completely honest. Those who do not recover lack complete honesty and, therefore, are part of the problem because they chose to be...trust me on this. Nothing justifies murder based on selfish pain.
