I really enjoyed Jess Zimmerman's story. There was another story I read with the setting of "time travel doesn't change the past, and now all of history is a tourist trap". I liked the idea as a fictional world and wasn't expecting to read a similar setup.

I thought it could be successful to write a book about social cues for the awkward called something like "Social Behaviour For Mingling With The Humans" with a barely-subtext flavour "Really not a book for robots infiltrating human society in preparation for overthrowing the fleshlings, that's just ridiculous."

I have two comments with approval that's head and shoulders (and knees and toes) above the rest: 1 - (Regarding a strange deleted comment on Nikki's casual racism piece, which called her...) "a member of an insect race”? Idiot. Once the Fleet arrives, we'll show them an insect race to be afraid of. But I've already said too much. 2 - (No real context) Apropos of little, whenever Mallory describes her relationship with Nicole, it sounds like she decided the best life was to be a Knight Of The Pen, sworn ever to the service of the Lady Nicole.
