Let me put forward a resounding meh. Looks generic and uninteresting, IMHO.

Not at all. The effect in the book was never really described, but is implied as completely instantaneous; none of that cheesy fading out stuff.

I knew a guy who has aspergers syndrome when I was in middle school, and I think like this is a pretty accurate portrayal of the condition. Has anyone else experienced it like that? What do you guys think about its portrayal in the film, at least in terms of the trailer?

Really not a big fan of Renée Zellweger, so this one is sort of a big meh for me.

/Film : First Look: Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel and Teresa Palmer in The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Cool. I was in NY for the day two weeks ago, and I stumbled upon the filming of a scene outside NYU in the rain with Jay and Teresa Palmer, and ended up passing Baruchel on the sidewalk later that day. Since it's the first set I've ever seen, I guess I'm going to have to see that movie.

Not only did I think Springsteen's "The Wrestler" was going to be nominated, I expected it to win outright. That song gives me chills whenever I listen to it. At least that Miley Cyrus piece of garbage song from Bolt wasn't nominated.

Russell (my name, lol) seems like he could get annoying by the end of the film, depending on how he's depicted. The comedic timing of the end of the clip is awesome, though.

/Film : More Stupid Dark Knight Sequel Rumors: Rachel Weisz as Catwoman

I still think that Talia Al Goul is the perfect female lead for the next film. She's a love interest for Bruce Wayne (which, by the way, is an element that WB will definitely shoehorn into the movie no matter what), it would be an interesting twist for those who don't know the character when she turns out to be Ras' daughter, which will tie the third film back to the first, making it a true trilogy, she's not too silly to be included in the Nolanverse... She isn't the foil for Batman that Catwoman is, but is a much better pick for the feel of the Nolanverse than Catwoman.

/Film : Question of the Week: The Most Inconsiderate Moviegoer

When i saw Superbad with a group of friends, there was a group of college-aged guys in the front row that were getting a tad rowdy. One of the guys ended up shouting some stupid comment at the screen at one point, which got some small laughs out of the audience, and that was all he needed. Every two minutes for the rest of the movie, the guy would make some comment, quite often lude or homophobic, and fed off the awkward laughter of the less mature members of the audience. Superbad was awkward enough of a movie without someone yelling "FAGS!" at the top of their lungs whenever there is any signifigant character development. By the way, I apologise on behalf of my generation for ruining some of your movie watching experiences. I always try to be respectful during movies, and, believe me, I hate those duchebags as much as you guys do; even more, maybe, because they make some people steryotype me for the disruptive teenager type.
