http://www.conservativehome.com/ : May's big new problem is the loss of trust which she has inflicted upon herself

May's red lines remind me of those of Obama's in the Syria crisis......set in the shifting sand and then disappearing!

Crikey, lets have an argument on the law so we can refrain from respecting the will of the people as determined by the referendum vote. We choose leave. Not stay in because May and her useless civil servants can't come up with a credible plan, or negotiate their collective way out of a paper bag!

http://www.conservativehome.com/ : WATCH: "This is not a betrayal" - May's message to Bone's disillusioned Conservative activists

No balanced cabinet, no party. Keep disrespecting us and be surprised when we walk away from the party. You need to learn the lessons from the states, people want hope, no enslavement to the powerful and unelected. Clinton did not represent middle America, and May has shown the Conservatives do not represent 17.4m voters. Won the battle but will lose the war!

A second great depression, what a load of twaddle. 80% of our trade is through WTO rules already, so whats another 20%. If this had been handled by anyone with a modicum of negotiating skills, the EU would of been coming to us, not us bending over in front of them. The one thing I agree is that the Conservatives may be out for another 10 years, as the betrayal of a majority will play badly. As I posted earlier elsewhere the decision between Corbyn and a PM who betrayed the majority does not play well for the party.

Yet again, a lack of understanding. Many of those who voted to leave are young. It amazes me how so many people make statements that can not be substantiated in fact. The poles that say the young voted to remain were based on what? It can't be the actual votes as they do not get analysed. Then it must be the samples from the pollsters, yep the same ones that predicted Scottish Independence, a win for the remaining side in the EU vote and of course the Election of President Hilary Clinton.....whoops.....Ten years after we have stayed in and there will be a whole generation that will remember the betrayal by a conservative leader.

Alternate plans need solutions and the PM has never looked for them. The thorniest issue she had was the NI border issue, which is simple to address. If you have ever booked a parking space on line in any of our cities, then you know its a simple fix. Number plate recognition is used when you enter and leave the car park to track your movements, and compare that against your electronic information. Simple to do and get running. Of course all remainders will say that is a fantasy idea.....one problem it already works for all exports from the EU into Norway! the solutions exist, the will from the PM never did! What none of you seem to appreciate as you call us loons, is that the feeling of betrayal will be difficult to erase, and its more likely that at best we will not vote in the next election, at worst we will vote for the opposition...what can be worse, Corbyn or a liar who said Brexit means Brexit!

http://www.conservativehome.com/ : The Government's Chequers Agreement. From Canada Plus Plus Plus to Brexit Minus Minus Minus.

I wonder why you think we are divorced from reality. The real problem is that the conservative party has shown itself devoid of any capability or negotiation skills. Our politicians have shown a contempt for the voters as you are doing here. And in terms of credible alternatives, there are many. Just one for you, is the so called Irish border problem. Have you ever booked a car parking space in the middle of any of our major towns? You book on line and then the car plate recognition system takes over, tracking your entrance and leaving, matching against the booking. That could be used for the transfer of goods across the border. And before you say I am deluded, this process already exists....it's used between the EU countries and Norway! Solutions to the problems exist, except those with no intention of leaving, did not bother to try and find them.

http://www.conservativehome.com/ : ConHome snap survey newsflash. Is May's Chequers Brexit plan good or bad? Should it be backed or not

The question that the Conservatives will need to think about, is how many conservative voters feel betrayed and will walk away from the party. The lack of any spine in the cabinet has been exposed, together with the lack of any ability to negotiate with the EU from any position of strength. Therefore, as TM advocates higher taxes to fund an ever failing NHS, is there any real difference with the labour party. Many of us will not vote conservative again, for a very long time or maybe never. Well played TM, there are not many who can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory!
