Newt's speech was a well-thought out expression of how well he listens...example: He listened to post-election speeches by Romney, Santorum & Ron Paul and accepted each of their strongest points: Romney's growth of business, Santorums strength of family and a strong military and Paul's need for economic restraint and strength of the dollar. By doing so, Newt effectively consolidated all of their strongest points under his candidacy. BRILLIANT!! He next extolled the virtue of the individual (the BEST trait of Ronald Reagan) and focused the need for FIGHTING TO DEFEAT Obama, his policies and his Media supporters. Best speech I've heard a conservative give in decades. Was unsure who I was going to support before Saturday, but now I know Newt is the superior fighter. He'll fight for us!
