The Obvious Truth is we are being betrade by our own government!! This is exactly why we have the second amendment which is exactly why King Obama is trying to defeat it. Barack is afraid of the militia. Possibly the most destructive President we have ever had. He couldn't just have an unconstitutional gun law he had to tack on $500 million in spending. While this radical left winger augers us into the poor house he needs to be certain we are defenseless when we get there. Safety comes with a price. Its either Freedom or Courage. There are three things in life that are almost impossible to recover once you let them out.
1) Your words! Once you say it everybody knows who you are! 2006 Obama "Rasing the debt ceilingis a sign of poor leadership"
2) Your Principles! The second you violate your own principles they are gone. 2013 Obama "Not raising the debt ceiling would be absurd and irsponsible"
3) Freedom: Its like Helium in a baloon as soon as its released you can never get it back. Obama 2013 "Its not about getting your guns, Its about safety"
I too see no compassion here. I also have not seen the kids locked in the back with 18 cats. We assume the family is best held together but we did not see them the envrionment they were in or the condition they were in or even listen to kids. We did not smell the inside of the box van or see the criminal record of the parents. Did these children beg to be taken away or beg to stay. We just don't know. I hate to judge the family or the State police especially since I was not there. I do know several State Police and find them to be some of the most compassionate people I know.
OK the mayor is arrested for robbing the till and then the Amercan Legion burns down and the fire fighters want to wrap any investigation quickly so they can tear the building down, I am sure this is coincedence and the old legion building had nothing to hide.
Maybe the truth is not so obvious? Is the new WTHI building sucking the oxygen out of the room? Come on Rick what is the story behind the story? Is this a political move did our high schools fall below a specification. Lets dig up the rest of the story!!

I too have to respect the charactor of the Amish even if I dont agree with everything they believe. Keep in mind the folks in this news story have been rejected by that culture. I am speaking up because I doubt the Amish community Levi used to belong too probably will not. Levi is sitting in jail being reminded of the law as I type. Levi's family would not be in the midst of TV interviews if they were still Amish. Its not the Amish way to publicly defend themselves to the English. He and his family have taken the bits of Amish and English culture they like and discarded the rest in favor of the their own freedom paradigm. For instance both cultures believe in obeying the law. I am not sure that they even make good neighbors as they dont feel compelled to obey the law. They teach their children that they are outside the law. I know that I would not like having that influence rubbing off on my children. I think this family is in for a rough road.
Sure Mr. Mourdock could have said things a bit differently but he was not condoning rape he was standing his ground on a prolife stance. Either you retain your principles or you throw them out. You cant lay them down and pick them up only when they serve you. If you believe that life begins at conception you can not condone killing that life because of the circumstances it was concieved in. Richard Mourdock seems to be the only candidate with enough character to stick with his principles even when its hard. Some politicians sway with the wind saying it ok to murder this child while its wrong to murder that one according to what is popular. That is no principles at all. Maybe you dont agree with his stance but you have to respect his character defending his beilef regardless of politics. That is the kind of leadership this country was founded on. Its what we need to be a great nation again.
I guess it's a question of character more than an abortion issue. Richard was saying he was pro life because God creates life and he believes that a fetus is human life from the moment of conception. So if Richard's pro life stance is real he cant say it's ok to kill a human because of the circumstances it was conceived in. Yes its painful for the mother and her family to give birth to and raise a child of a rape. Mourdock was not debating that. Can your character only count when it fits or should you sway your beliefs when things get tough.
I know a bunch of you will give me thumbs down but before you do. . . what do you believe in and stand up for no matter what the public says even if it means your job or your life or someone elses? I may not agree with everything Mr Mourdock says but I gotta respect his character. Isn't Good Character one of things we need most in office right now?
This is not such a mystery just forgotten facts. There should be pictures of it somewhere. I fished it 20 years ago. The water rushing past has cut a 40 foot deep hole with giant catfish in it. The locomotive has been sinking into the mud for decades and is now too low to see even with record low water. But for years on lazy summer days this bohemoth engine could be seen as it faced down river laying on its side. Its a dangerous place to be as current spins about the jagged the rusted iron. When I was kid my grandpa told me they just did not have anything to lift it out and the big goal was to get the tracks fixed. In fact He said they barely got the train cars out and even then they resorted to burning the wood sections up so they only lifted the iron. The Wabash hides many secrets.
Okay it is sad these people were hurt, but this person reported that the robbers stole their pot. I hate to be too obvious here but really? Officer they stole my majijuana!! I demand justice! wow!!
